Pentafon increases technical proficiency to 93.4% and reduces critical errors by -42.3% with AI‑powered training

With an interactive learning model and the use of its AI‑driven virtual trainer as an enabler, Pentafon accelerated role adoption, improved training effectiveness, and consolidated a more scalable, practical, and sustainable training framework.

Pentafon’s training model needed to evolve to respond to new learning styles, reduce dependency on the trainer, and accelerate effective onboarding of employees into operations. The challenge was not just digitizing content, but redesigning the training experience to make it more dynamic, consistent, and aligned with the business.

Objectives

• Fully redesign the training and coaching process.
• Accelerate effective role adoption without extending training time.
• Optimize trainer time and scale training capacity.
• Integrate AI into the learning process without losing human guidance.
• Ensure a flexible, interactive, and sustainable model.

A training strategy to accelerate human potential development

Pentafon designed a new training model based on interactive learning, AI‑supported development, evolution of the trainer role, and operational efficiency. The strategy incorporated simulations, dynamic content, guided practice, and out‑of‑class reinforcement, enabling employees to take a more active role in their learning journey.

Implementation took place in stages: diagnosis and redesign of the model, integration of AI into training, upskilling trainers in digital tools and instructional design, optimized hybrid operation, and continuous measurement to consolidate the model. This allowed Pentafon to run in‑person and virtual training simultaneously, with greater consistency and without increasing costs proportionally.

Results

• +8.6% Technical proficiency
• +2.2% Satisfaction with the learning experience
• +3.3% Trainer productivity
• +12.7% Early exposure time to real environments
• +5.2% Employees hitting productivity‑curve targets
• -42.3% Critical errors in quality evaluations
• +12.5% Average collections ticket per agent

This case demonstrates that AI generates value when it strengthens learning without replacing human support. Pentafon turned training into a strategic tool to improve performance, accelerate productivity, and reduce operational risk, consolidating a replicable and sustainable model. For this reason, the project won Gold in the Best Human Potential Development Strategy category at the IMT 2026 National CX&EX Awards.
